Pakistani Taliban denies responsibility for two bomb attacks

The Pakistani Taliban has denied responsibility for two bombs that ripped through a crowded market in the city of Peshawar, killing 39 people.
A small initial blast Saturday night drew onlookers and emergency services before a second more powerful explosion, believed to be from a suicide bomber.
The attack is one of the deadliest in a series to hit Pakistan since U-S Navy SEALs killed Osama bin Laden in May.
A Taliban spokesman said the attack was an attempt by foreign agencies to malign them, claiming they only target the government and military, not innocent civilians.
