Philippine President-elect names cabinet

Philippine President-elect Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino has named 29 people to his cabinet, a day before his inauguration.
The new Aquino cabinet will hold its first meeting on Wednesday, after being sworn into office along with the President-elect.
Most of those named in the incoming Aquino cabinet either served in the previous administration of Corazon Aquino, the mother of President-elect Benigno Aquino the Third, or are actively allied with the political opposition.
The Aquino cabinet also has three appointees from the cabinet of outgoing President Gloria Arroyo.
At least two cabinet members were from the Arroyo cabinet but resigned due to a scandal that linked President Arroyo to cheating in the 2004 elections.
