South Korea has called off the search for 45 missing sailors who were on board a warship which sank last week.

Navy divers found one sailor's body just hours before the military agreed to a request from relatives to give up the search.

Officials say the focus of the operation will now switch to salvaging the wreckage.

58 crew members survived the incident.

It's still not clear what triggered the explosion which caused the ship to sink.

South Korea has been playing down reports that an attack by the North might have been to blame.
