At least 45 killed in India bridge collapse

The number of people presumed killed when a bridge collapsed in western India has risen to at least 45.

Rescue divers are still trying to recover bodies pinned under water in the the Chambal river in Rajasthan state.

Dozens of labourers plunged into the water on Thursday when the bridge which they were working on gave way.

The bridge was being jointly built by South Korea's Hyundai Engineering and an Indian firm.

Police say two senior project managers, including a South Korean national, have been arrested and are likely to face charges.
