The two hotels targeted in a terrorist attack nearly a fortnight ago in Indonesia have reopened.

The J.W. Marriott and Ritz Carlton hotels in Jakarta have reopened for business but the areas targeted by the suicide bombers remain sealed off as police continue to search for clues to help identify the perpetrators.

Nine people including three Australians were killed in the coordinated bomb blasts.

Indonesia's most-wanted terrorist, Noordin Mohammed Top is widely suspected of behind the attacks because of similarities with past attacks in Jakarta and Bali.

His wife was arrested last week and while she says she was unaware of her husbands true identity she has told police he does bear a resemblance to pictures of the terrorist.

Police are pursuing numerous known associates of Top who are suspected of being involved in the latest hotel bombings.
